For any of you who have a new 4-stroke motor w/ a stainless prop and are hearing a rattleing noise (clutch rattle) at low rpm's in forward or reverse, there is now a fix, at least for Mercury. Mercury has just come out with a new Hub kit.I have a new 115 with this problem. I tried mine out yesterday and the clutch rattle is gone. Works great.
You will not get this if you are running an aluminum prop.
If anyone is having this problem, contact your dealer and they can get this kit for you. My dealer installed mine at no charge.
