settings on x-15mt

cant seem to get the detail i want from this graph. Lots of unwanted stuff on scream. I had a 350 and never had problem-always used this graph on manual mode. Have been running on automatic with bad results, then switch to manual and not much better.

what a decent (avg to start) setting for the following

gray-
surface-
asp-

My settings may not work in your area but should get you a decent starting point. I keep my filters to low (surface clarity and ASP). I can't exactly recall where my grayline is set at but know it is between 35 - 50. My sensitivity is the only setting I adjust on a regualar basis. It is set anywhere from 75 - 90, being closer to 90 mainly.

I only have experience using it on the Detroit River and never thought I could mark fish arches in the river like I have been with this unit. I do have surface clutter, anywhere from 2 - 4 ft. down.
