I have a Taylor Made Systems windshield and after serval years it has begun to rattle. I have tightened all the screws but that doesn't seem to help. Any one have any suggestions on what to do next.

Tks,

I do not have any experience with that brand of windsheild but I have had to do some work on a few boat winsheilds. First, in the framework of the windsheild there is a rubber liner. This liner is used to hold the glass securely. If it is weathered badly then it can cause the glass to loosen up resulting in rattling. Replacements for this liner can likely be gotten from a good hardware store or window repair shop. Next, check the mounting hardware for the windsheild, any braces, supports, etc... and look for loose or damaged components. If loose some of these use a rubber 'O' ring or washer to reduce vibration. Replacements for these can be obtained at same places as rubber liner. Any damaged components hardware you may find should be replaced. You can find replacement parts at a good marina or at marine hardware dealers such as Boat U.S.. I hope this helps you find the problem.
