Just purchased a new 02 Lund Pro V 1775, with a 150 Opti-Max. Was wondering speeds after break in, and trimming the motor with two other people in the boat and by myself? I have about 2hrs on the new motor. Had a problem from the factory, they drilled a long screw into the wiring harness from the throttle handle to the motor, about half way and it was blowing a fuse and killing all power at the boat dock none the less, on Memorial Day weekend. The dealer found the short and fixed it that day. But what a way to start a new season, and have been embarrassed at the boat dock. Was wondering if anybody has heard of this happening before? I know not everybody or anything is perfect, but it is just upsetting when you wait so long to have a awesome boat. Everything is great now!! I am super happy with everything. Thanks, Darrin

Hey...nice boat!!! I have a 2002 Lund ProV 1775 with a Yamaha 150 VMax HPDI. It has approx. 10.5 hours on it. To date my top speed has been 54 mph(gps). That is with a 3 blade Laser II and my cavitation plate is 1" above the bottom of the boat.
So far I love my boat and sure I will for a long time to come. wiggle

Darrin,

Just came back from a weeks fishing from the Northwoods with my new 02 Lund 1775. I only have the Yamaha 115hp/4 stroke but I have no complaints. The boat handled great, especially on some choppy waters. My only issue was battling the seat pedestals from their base. I've received some comments back on this and it seems like an easy fix.

I couldn't be happier with the boat though. The live wells worked great and kept fish and minnows alive all week long. One night though, the auto/recirculating drained my starting battery. I'm about to hoop up an on-board charger that should solve that problem too.

Enjoy the boat and Happy Fishing!

Ed

Thanks for the reply. I found using Pledge cleaner on the base works well for getting those seats out. I got the on-board charger with my boat and I wouldn't be without it, it is such a nice option. Have a super summer and good luck chasing the elusive eye!!
