Looking to install a new bow mount locator for under $500.00
I'm leaning towards the pinpoint 7420. I also hear that Minnkota is coming out with a new trolling motor next year that has a universal trolling motor transducer built in. Does anyone know if this motor can accomodate a Pinpoint graph. I'm leaning towards pinpoint based on their responses from users on past posts. I also like the great scroll speeds that they offer and the sync feature. I plan on eventually installing a Pinpoint 7520 on the console to replace my Garmin 240 thats there now. I like the 240 but I belive that the Pinpoint has more to offer compared to the 240. Any suggestions welcome

You must give the Zercom LPG 2000 a "look see". Once you do, I think you will like it. We've been using one for the last couple years and love it. With it's 16 shades of gray-scale, the definition is unbelievable. We can watch an 1/8 ounce jig 'bounce up and down the screen; and since ours was originally a loaner from a sponsor, our transducer is shooting through the hull.( Didn't want to drill holes for something we had to give back.) We liked it so much, we bought it. This unit has great bottom seperation as well as a "real-time" flasher display on the side of the screen. It's also very easy to operate, even with gloves on. Hope this helps you out.
