I have a 200 efi and 9.9 hp fourstroke on a Lund 2025 SE. The 9.9 is mounted to power trim/tilt mount on the port side of the boat.

I would prefer a system that is connected in the front and is removable and only installed when needed running the 9.9 kicker. Does anyone have any recommendations on a manufacturer of brackets, connectors, and connecting bar? When not in use is there a good method for bracing the kicker motor against movement?

I have a bolted on setup from dealer on now but do not care for it at all. It lets the kicker motor shake around to much and limits my steering on the big engine. I am learning here and looking for an alternative.

Sounds like a Goldeneye system is what you want. The company, I think, just went out of business, but check Cabelas. There should be a tension screw on the kicker that will keep it from moving, while trailering. I recently picked up an extra Goldeneye bar, from this site, they are available and of excellent quality.
