Pinpoint GPS

What's the word on Pinpoints GPS? I know they have prototypes in the field, just wondering if anybody has heard how they're doing. Getting close to releasing to the public?

Last time I heard (talked to factory back in March) they were in their second round of prototypes this spring, and expected public availability "in time for 2002 fishing season" (whatever that means).
