I was browsing through my fish pictures last night and noticed that most of my bigger fish have been caught when I was wearing a blue shirt and a white hat.
Now I'm having trouble packing for this weekend in that I don't want any shirts that aren't blue and I'm only taking my white hat.
Is anyone else having issues like this? Has it become dysfunctional at all?

Eric,
Talk about Rocky Mounain High... Tell you what , fill your bathtub with blue food dye and jump in so when you take your shirt off you don't scare the fish with that pink skin of yours.
LOL.........art

With my 220lb. 5'10" physique I would probably be given a ticket for indecent exposure for taking my shirt off!!!! LMFAO!!!!

Come to think of it, most of my big fish were caught while I had my bait in the water.

OK, I've got my lucky hat and my lucky shirt that rarely gets washed...
But nothing compares with the jinx power of a banana. Get a banana in the boat and you're going to lose fish, break tackle, or just plain not get any bites in the first place.
The only scientifically proven antidote is the Hostess raspberry filled donut. Even that is iffy unless one performs the banana dance and drinks a Schmidt's animal beer. (The dance looks like a native American rain dance except you're holding a jelly donut.)
Geez, I can't believe I slipped and let the secret out. Now everyone will figure it out...

My dad, who I fish with quite a bit, never throws back the first fish, no matter how small or big, until we catch another fish.

Try using superstition as an excuse for that 7 inch walleye in the live well to the DNR

Superstitions...oh yea, alot of them. Depending on how long I have been catching fish in a particular spot. Maybe starts out with a hat or a coat and evolves into the entire process of getting to my spot. A particular route, parking spot, type of snack, you name it. If I did it yesterday and I caught fish, I am doing it the same way today. I"m a real freak, but the fish kinda like me this way.

I have a shirt my dad wore and caught big pike in and i just happen to be wearing it one day when i caught a big Walleye. So i wear it often. I also throw a penny in the water everytime i get on the lake.

Oh and the shirt says "Hog Heaven" ironicly, no relation to fishing.

I absolutely will not shave from the 1st of April until I've caught my first walleye on opening day, third weekend of May.......~~q:

Tough Guy always give thanks to mighty creator after every battle with big walleye.
I must see Spirit Island in Mille Lacs on the way north. Without exception: good fishing if I do, bad fishing if I don't.
