View Full Version : Problem with Raytheon L365 fishfinder

I had a pin breakoff on the power connection and sent to raytheon and they repaired at no charge. Not sure if they put a whole new back on the unit or not. Both the power cord and the transducer plug into the back and rely strictly on an o ring for "friction fit". Poor design in my opinion.
At any rate, now when I plug either cord in, there is no friction and the plugs wont stay in. I've contacted Raymarine but have not heard back as of yet.
Anyone else experienced this problem with this unit???

Take your "o" ring off and go to the local hardware store and get one that's a little thicker diameter. If it's too tight, put a little grease on it.
