Bad batch of FC, have seen it before. Take it back and get it replaced. I know a guy that tied up his harnesses and
ended up not getting in the championship because of that line.

I also had this problem tying with flourocarbon. Put the 2 spools in the garbage and went back to regular mono.
I feel that flouro gave me more hookups but was frustrated by large % of breakoffs at the hooks.
Real flourocarbon (pure flourocarbon leader material) needs to be wetted excessivly. Vanish and the other stuff sold in reel fill spools I feel has no place being used for open water harnesses. If you're power trolling I'd suggest going to 25# pure flourocarbon, I use Seguar, but P-Line, and others are available. These will not break even when tangled in the net. Good luck.

THEY ARE VERY REASONABLE TO BUY. TRY REELBAIT OF NEB. EXCELLENT HARNESS. AND AL IS A GREAT GUY.

I tried the FC line with my spinner rigs and it cost me some good fish. So it went in the trash. Switched back to my old standard, 14lb XT in green, this stuff will pull up barbwire fences......
I am curently using 14# vanish and have not had any problems. I tie them in much the same way as jules. just wet the line before snugging the Knots-especialy the loop in the end. I use mine drifting and casting and behind bouncers in Erie-again-NO PROBLEMS.
ETT, Why not? what are your concerns-reasons for holding this opinion?
