how do you download the new software?
or better yet how do you get it from your pc to the unit?

You download the update to an MCC card and then you put the MCC card in your X-15 and it download it automatically.

just go to lowrance web site download page follow instructions it is simple. 2.1 is now available.

If you dont have the GPS mapping pkg you wont have the interface kit to plug into your PC. All you have to do is call Lowrance customer service and request an MMC card with the current update on it and they will take a credit card # for security deposit and send you one. Thats what I had to do because I dont have GPS pkg.
