Does fizzing walleyes work. Has there a study been on it. I would like some input from some fisherman. Thanks in advance

Check out the archives search on this. There was a pretty extensive discussion on this. I have read that if you get a fish up quickly and release it quickly, fizzing is not needed. Fish swims back down and has not been damaged if one works fast enough. Now this is 30-50 foot of water, I would say anything deeper, go sunny fishing!
Don't do it fool! You will do a lot more damage than good. If you have gas cramps should you get fizzed? We are fisherman, not surgeons.
