Hey folks!

I need help (My subscription to outdoor News ran out)
in finding a Guide within 1 hour of the Mpls. MN area
for multi-fishing.

My friends are looking for fishing fun.
Any species long as they can have fun.
I was thinking a Day on Minnetonka for panfish,
Bass, Northern, etc.?

This is a Father's Day present for two Asian friends of mine.
Their Father is in from China and her daughter-in-law wants
to send them out.

Any Idea's?????

Thanks in Advance

I don't know of any particular guides, but don't overlook the St. Croix River. It is beautiful, lots different fish to catch, and for walleyes it is sposed to be on fire right now. Smallies are always biting, and always have chance at muskie, northern, sheephead, white bass, catfish or even sturgeon.

Check out
http://www.fishtheriver.com
for guides and more river info.

It is about 1 hour (tops) east of Mpls, so not too far. I love the river, especially during the week when traffic is light.

The is always the Griz for a guide, but he fishes pretty heavy and might not be quite as relaxing as you want.

Good luck!

I would second the bid for the river, Mississippi or St. Croix. I fished with a gentleman named James Houlst of moving waters guide service in March. We had a tough bite with the weather change, but I had one of the most enjoyable days on the water that I can remember. I saw James coming off the water on Sat night and the guy is truely genuine. He told us where he had been catching fish, what to use and when they were biting best. I would recommend him hands down for a fun and relaxing day of fishing. He outshines any guide I've ever used.
