Anyone know whether the new Yo-Zuri line is any good? I was given a spool of 4 lb test but have been reluctant to put it on an ultra-lite rod & reel because of previous difficulty with Vanish. The Yo-Zuri is a fluorocarbon, but with what they call "super resin process." They make claims of "super strong" "maximum knot strength" "ultra durable" and more.

Anyone suggest I spool it on a spinning outfit?

(Even tho it was a freebie, don't say I've got "nothing to lose." Lost fish and lures are losses.)

I too was given some (8#) as a freebie and it is pretty good stuff. It does have more memory than say Trilene XL, but not like Vanish or trielene XT. I've been real careful to wet the knots when I tie it and haven't had too many problems. The only knot breaks, just a few, were from breaking out of snags. Can't say I've lost fish w/ it. It does seem like fairly abrasion resistent too. I like it ok, especially for leaders/snells. I don't know if I'd pay $11/ spool, but then I wouldn't pay that much for any line anyway. Hope this helps. Bret
