I was wondering if anyone knows who may have a 1650 Explorer in stock in the midwest and what kind of price I can expect to pay for boat and trailer only. I can find 1675's all day long but unfortunately it won't fit in the garage.

What kind of performance can I expect with a 50 HP 4 stroke and what prop is best.

Anyone pro's or cons with this boat?

Thanks in advance.

Hi KP. I bought the 1650 Explorer SS this spring and love it. I have the Honda 50 on it and get 33MPH WOT GPS. I had trouble with the original Michigan Wheel prop that the dealer installed, caused excessive cavitation however they replaced it with a Honda Prop an all is well. The only regret I have is that the 1800 Explorer SS is to big for my garage and tow vehicle, however no regrets what-so-ever with my purchase, it does everything I had hoped for. Good luck with your search and fishin too.

I just got my 1650 Explorer tiller w/50 hp 2 strk about 3 wks ago and I love it,It gets up on plane right now, very easy to handle, and I opened it up a couple times during break-in and went about 30,only have about 4 hrs on it so far.I've had bigger boats, but this is the best fit for me,its great to fish out of and 30 mph is plenty fast for me.I got mine from Starks in Prairie du Chien,Wisc.Good people to work with.Check with them, they are always getting boats in and they will price you over the phone.
