Rigging rod holders on Ranger

I have a Ranger 617 and would like to rig some rod holders on it. I like the Tite-Lok or Pursuit Sports track systems, but the tracks are just a bit wider than the wall (gunwale) of the Ranger. I saw where Pursuit has a track attached to a tube for flush mount, but Ranger tells me that drilling for the tube could interfere with wiring inside the wall. Any help or ideas?

have you looked at the "ranger rails" that cabela's has ? i mounted them on my boat with three of the quick release rod holders on each side. they work well !

I think I've seen those. Ranger also tells me they have rails available that will go all the way to the bow.
