Looking for some feedback on the 2001 Mercury 60 four stroke efi. Have been experiencing gas going into the crankcase during operation. Have had the motor in the shop twice and have been told I had a thermostat seal problem and the second time told to run the motor at full throttle longer. The motor has been through the break in cycle and is used for backtrolling too. I changed oil and the crankcase is still shows a normal operating level but waiting for the fifteen hour mark on the hour meter. That seems to be the time when the crank case level increased.
