Hi Guys: I need help with an issue regarding rigging my boat. My boat is a Smoker Craft Big Fisherman 16.5. It does not have a flat carpeted surface at the bow for mounting an electric motor. The boat does have a raised front deck, and there is room to install a carpeted platform. Is there a place where I could order some sort of insert to install there? I looked at the Minn Kota bracket for mounting on a V hull, but it is not the answer for a more permanent mount. What can you suggest? Thanks for the great help and this wonderful website!
