OK Iwant you to do this the WHITE WIRE is ground clean of a good spot and bolt it done good and tight . IT IS THE MOST cause of light failure .jim

Are you pulling with a Ford? If yes there are two fuses......

You can find a site from google.com that will give you the colors that each wire should be for each function. Be sure that you haven't changed anything from it's original color. If you have a voltmeter, that is the easiest way to check that the car wires are Ok and functioning as they should be. From there on it is just a matter of checking out each wire. good luck

Most common system is wired this way-

Flat four pin connector-
Brown-running lights
Green- right turn
Yellow-left turn
White-ground

Ground, ground, ground. Make sure ALL of the grounds are clean including the one on the vehicle. DO not rely on the trailer hitch as a ground. Also all other connections must be checked including wires that may be joined together at a splice.

since you have brake lights and blinkers, they are together so that leaves the running/tail lights. Take a test light and check to see if you have power coming out of the brown lead from your vehicle. If you do then take the same test light and check to see of you have power on the brown wire just before it goes into the main piece of frame work shortly after the plug in. If you do then check the brown leads right before they go into the blinkers. Wherever you quit lighting up your test light, that tells you the problem is in front of that spot. The ground issue is usually the culprit however you more than likely wouldn't have blinkers or brake lights either then.
