I will be in the Spooner area next week visiting relatives and want to take my nephew who will be on leave from the Marine Corps fishing. Anybody have any info on lakes in that area that are producing panfish or walleyes we are willing to drive 30 to 40 miles any direction from Spooner. Thanks for your help!

Andy, check out Pastikas Sportshop in Hayward. Their website is pastikas.com and they have a "Local Lakes" section with current info. Good place for current info on fishing in the Northland. Good luck!

How far is Spooner from Cumberland? I have relatives threre. My fathers Family is from that area.

I'm from Cumberland. Spooner is 22 miles north of Cumberland. Who are your relatives?
