Here is my experience:
7-15%
What seems to increase slip is, weight of boat, weight in the boat, hull resistance (fiberglass vs. riveted alum>) hand the steepness of the dead rise in the transom.

Propeller cupping seems to decrease the slip.

Example: an welded aluminum jon boat that weighs 250lbs and has one passenger and 1/2 tank of gas will have a low slip.

Good luck
