What are some good fishing tournaments in the rocky mtn region that one can fish in. I am looking for a lake/river tournament that is quality run in hospitality (dinners both nights, cold beer during the rules meeting et.) along with decent fishing.

The last tournament I entered was the highest priced, poorest run tournament I have fished in (no names mentioned). The best tournament I have fished in is the MT gov cup. Is there anything comparable??

I agree > with the Mt Gov. Cup!! Another good tournment is the Shut up and fish tourney in May.
Don't fish the Glendo one, $400 bucks and it's not run as good as the others I've fished.

Yea it's $400, but the payback is bigger than any other tourney's and they pay through 24 places rather than 6 or 10. I think the Wyoming Walleye Circuit tournaments are very good tournaments!

Yes the WWC tourney's are alot of fun, there's alot of good fisherman in that Circuit, But the Montana Gov. cup is the best Tournament I have ever been in, It seems like everybody in the Glasgow area pitches in to make it a great one. Hats off to all the people up there that make it happen.

BDH, The Mt. gov pays $10,000 for 1st and on down to the following 19 places. Also the tournment fills up in January, Glendo only had 158 boats, plus Eric only gives out a sticker for your boat, big deal!!
I do agree that there are great fisherman and they are great people, but there's NO comparision to the Governor's cup.
