Howdy, Howdy, Howdy!!!!,,,
Yup, I'm here and accounted for Drill Sargent!!!Request to do another 50 push-ups!!No, not really, but just been really busy and getting a lot of things done around the house..Almost have to remind myself that I had brain surgery 3 weeks ago..All of the stitches have came out and I'm healing really well..After 3 weeks the medications are really starting to help and I'm feeling great, although I still am grounded by my nuerosurgeon-no driving!!
The big deal now is to get totally healed so I can drive and prepare for a Surprise Father's Day gift from my 2 sons-One of them is taking me to the Winnepeg River system around Minaki, Ontario in July if I can get the medical clearance from my Docs..I have all of my fingers and toes crossed that I can make the trip as planned..Going up with 5 or 6 guys that my boys went to school with and a couple of their dads, so it should be a great trip..Working on getting the boat and tackle organized and ready to go in anticipation..
Again, I offer my most sincere Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers during my little ordeal in Iowa City at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics..All of the folks at the John Coloton Pavillion 6th floor are top notch and made my stay the best possible, and with your cards and posts that my wife brought me, the stay went pretty fast..
Thanks Again everyone!!!You Guys are THE BEST!!!!!!!

Well it sounds like your doing just fine Buzzer. Glad to hear it! I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you two. After what you went through, a nice little jaunt to Canada sounds like just the right medicine!
Best of Luck to you...

See ya on the water.
Oh by the way I promised you a Iowa joke when you cam back.
....A priest was hearing confession and this Iowa man came in to confess his sins. The priest asked the man what did you come to confess. The man said he was there to confess he had used some very vulgar language; the priest then asked the man to tell him how this came about. The man said he was on a golf course and was teeing off on the seventh hole of a par four 382 yard hole. He hit a drive that was staight as an arrow and he expected it to go over 300 yards. About 50 yards out the ball hit a bird and fell in the middle of the fairway. The priest then asked the man if this was when he swore? The man said, no Father, so the priest asked the man what happened next. He said a squirrel ran out on the fairway, grabbed the ball in his mouth, and ran up to the top of an oak tree. The priest then asked the man if this was when he swore. The man said, no Father, so the priest asked then what happened. An eagle then grabbed the squirrel out of the oak tree with the ball in its mouth. The eagle then flew over the green and the squirrel dropped the ball about 2 feet from the hole. The priest then said "You missed the putt didn't you." :D
