Rod holders for Triton 189

I'm about to buy a Triton 189 that has not been rigged for Walleye fishing. I would like to use the flat aluminum plate rod base that Cabella's sell's, the kind that you can slide a covor piece in and it becomes a flat step. I have seen this on aluminum boats, will it work on the triton? What type of rod holders do you suggest to go with the flat plate?

Check out Berts Tackle. They have a track system that has the step and pieces that will slid in, to accept Cabela rod holders.
