View Full Version : Stratos Walleye Boats
Does Stratos have a good walleye boat and what can you tell me about them. Would like to look a glass boat in the 19 foot range. Thanks for your feed back.

tab - The Javelin 21 MSX is now going to be sold as a Stratos since the Javelin division is no longer around. It may be a bigger boat than what you're looking for but the 21 MSX that I have has been fantastic to fish out of so far. Hopefully Stratos will update their website soon. Good luck!

Maybe I got bad info from a rep, but it was my understanding that Javelin will be the Value line for Statos. I heard something about J series. I also was told that the 21 Javelin will remain in the J line of the Stratos boats. I guess they all would techically be Stratos....but the stategy I was told was to offer the Javelins as a Stratos....named J Series. I'm sure I could be wrong. Maybe something has changed.
The Stratos 219 was an excellent multi-species boat. I owned one. Stratos doesn't make them anymore, but Javelin does. Don't know much about the Javelin, but if you could find a newer Stratos 219 (used)you
will definately not be dissappointed.

This is what I was told as per email from Brent James of customer service. We have

So there you have it.

I own a 219W Stratos. For the waters I fish here in Kansas it is all the boat that I need. I have never been wet in it, however, if we get two foot white caps here, that would be considered very rough water. As I said, I have never been wet but I am not sure I could make that claim if I fished the Great lakes or Missouri river impoundments. It is an outstanding boat for me and the only thing I feel it lacks is storage. Terry
