going to akaska and wondering were to stay thanks rick

Swan Creek Resort is right there but it's 9 miles of gravel to the river. I have stayed there but when it rains it's a mess or if it's dry it's a dust bowl. The Akaska flats and the mouth of the Mourau can be good but your a long ways from anywhere. We Stay at South Whitlocks, easy access no gravel and many options for the same fish. That 9 miles of gravel 18 per day will wear on you. Also you have BobsSteakhouse next to Whitlocks Best steak anywhere for steak lovers only Meat and Texas toast. I don't work for them or anything but with 16 yrs going from Mobridge to Chamberlain this is the easiest access best structure most options anyway anyhow. And if you have to get to the Akaska flats you can motor up from Dodge draw access . Good luck. I'm bringing a group out on the 16th and like my youngest says were catching them right by the lips.
