620 With a 225 hp.
Has anyone run this combo?? If so what Pitch prop and Rpms??

My 2001 opti 225hp came with a 21 pitch Tempest. It overreved at 5800 rpm. I now run a 23 Tempest at 5500-5600 rpm. This is the best prop I've found for speed. But, the High 5, 23 pitch, is awesome out of the hole for planing,(runs 5600-5700 rpm) great for pulling the kids on the tube, and 2 days ago I had 5 guys in it, 4 in the back 4 seats and one on the step between the counsels, and it planed great and still ran 48 on the gps. If I could only have one prop it would be the high 5, 23 pitch. Better to loose some top end than to not be able to plane. Just my opinion.Good Luck.
