Need some help.
I'm anxiously willing to pay a good cash price for a used Merc 2Stroke (no 4s) with a long shaft/15 or 9.9/ any age from 1995 to 2002.
Any of you folks know someone willing to sell theirs -OR- of a dealer that has one in inventory/ where to look?

Yes, I've been looking- and thanks!- but the motor on ebay is short shaft. Need a long shaft.

Try greg@pinewoodsports.com if he doesn't have one now I'll bet he will have in the next 30 days. I've bought used merc's from him in the past, good prices, good motors.

Check www.iboats.com . Find the number and give them a call. They specialize in "refurbished" one or two year old motors that are lease returns from fishing camps in Canada and U.S. I talked to them last week on four strokes (there are none available), but they did have some deals on two strokes. According to them, they are completely specd to original, cleaned up (cowls replaced if necessary etc...) and sold. $150 for shipping and no tax. I'd be interested to know what you find out.
