Berkley premium line

Has anyone had any experience with the new Berkley premium line ,it comes in the gold box. I leave for Lake Athabasca Thurs and I have several of my reels spooled with it and I got some info off a message board some people had trouble with it snapping on hook set. We will be fishing for large pike and I would die if the line keeps failing.
Any information will be appricated.

I use the line as leader. Its tempermental or atleast has been. It kinks on the spool but put some pressur on it and it stays straight. Haven't had trouble with knots or non abraded strength. Was able to hang 14 pounds on a swivle using 12 test. Let the board know how it ends up doing.
