Hey all. I know I can count on you guys for some good advice, so here goes: I finally am getting around to setting up a tank to try to keep bait alive between fishing trips; specifically, stonies, minnows, crayfish, and dobsons. I've got the air supply set up, but what do I feed them? I don't think I have to worry about food if they're only in there for a couple of days, but I'd like to see if I can keep them going for a few weeks at a time (for those unfortunate situations when it's that long between fishing trips).

Any info you can share?

Thanks in advance,
Duane

just kept a bunch of flatheads alive for two wks...lost very few..like 5 only...it was cool in the area and that helps...but i put one kernel of dry dog food in daily...keep in a large cooler...three ft across...put a new frozen gallon milk jug in daily...rotate out of our deep freeze...keep in plastic bag in freezer so wife doesn't yell...i tried the aquarium...fish kept getting into the water filter and dying...think it would be better to just use an air stone for aeration..keep water cold and metabolism is much slower...less body wastes to hurt fish..steve
