Seems like Crestliner finally got the message and has gone to a 25 inch transome standard on their 2003 Sportfish series. I hope they corrected the problem with leaks in the splashwell area as well.
You could have order'd a Sportfish with a 25" transom as an option for a few years now. Now it's standard and you have no choice. I don't think that is a benifit. Perhaps they could of made the 20" transom an option???

P.V., I agree. However I guess it depends on the body of water you fish, and what you learn after you have the boat. I am not saying the 25 inch is necessary for all bodies of water, just better on others. As for the 20 inch transome, I don't know if the 20 inch can be ordered as an option. Perhaps someone might let us know.
