Today I priced a new (2002) Alumacraft 175 Tournament Pro with new (2001 carryover)Mercury 150EFI,and Shorelander trailer: $18,200 +tax. In you opinion is this realistic, in the ball park, high, low, or?

Thanks, Lonnie

Thats about the numbers I have found although haven't looked that hard yet. I know that you were also looking at the Mr. Pike 18. Have you decided against the Lund? Just wondering, I'm looking at the same two boats.(I thought the deciding was suppose to be fun!!! ) John

In May 2002, I purchased for $19,995:

new 2001 Crestliner 182TS
new 2001 Yamaha VMax 150hp HPDI
new 2001 Tennessee custom trailer (with brakes, guide ons, removable tongue)
new MinnKota 12Volt 55lbs Power Drive
new Lowrance X-85 graph

This same package without trolling motor and graph priced for almost $24,000 if I bought it as a 2002 model. I think your price sounds reasonable, but not great, unless it includes a graph and trolling motor. The 175 is a smaller boat than my 182 and my VMax HPDI is more like a 150 Optimax. However, if there are extras with the boat, it could be a good price.

I was planning on purchasing an Alumacraft Tourney Pro 185 when I found this Crestliner. I still like the interior layout of the Alumacraft more than my Crestliner.

Good Luck with the new boat purchase. There are good deals out there.
