What is best for removing tarnish from spinner blades? All colors - gold, bronze, silver, nickel.
jewelry polish. My wife has some stuff (can't remember what it's called) in a little plastic container, I just pour some in a bowl and soak them and then wipe them off with a paper towel.

The name of a product I have used is Simicrome, it comes in a tube and can be purchased at gun and knife shows or jewelry shops. Another thing that will work ok is toothpaste....available in your medicine chest. Hope this helps...Al ><> ><>
I do this every spring to get my blades ready, simply pour a small amount (1/2 cup) of vinegar, yes vinegar in a bowl and soak your blades for about 15 minutes. No scrubbing needed. It works great and inexpensive too. Also works great for hard water spots on your boat and motor.

I find good old toothpaste works pretty well, and you can't get ii in your own medicine cabinet.

Brasso works also.
JC,
Why are you polishing your blades? I thought you never pulled meat around only cranks. Any type of brass/silver cleaner will work to remove the tarnish. You could put clear coat of fingernail polish to keep them from tarnishing. too much work for me though. I prefer to use the bright colors on my toes.

After a day of prefishing for a MWC tournament in Gladstone Michigan we went to eat supper at a local restaraunt with a couple of guys that we met at the campground. While we waited for our meal one of these guys takes the ketchup bottle and squirts a big gob of ketchup out on a knapkin. Then he reaches into his shirt pocket an comes out with a half a dozen copper hatchet blades all tarnished up and puts them in the ketchup. By the time we finished supper them blades looked brand new. Worked for him.
