I am hearing about a form e-99 that you have to fill out when crossing into Canada with your boat? Is this something new this year? I have not filled one out in the past. Anybody have any information on this?

I've taken my rig twice in the last three weeks via the Ambassador Bridge in Detroit. They waved me right through. No paper work at all. Being an honest looking chap has it's advantages I guess?

IF YOUR TALKING ABOUT BEING IN YOU BOAT AND CROSSING IN CANADA AND GOING ASHORE [PELLI ISLAND] THEN WHEN YOU RETURN YOU HAVE TO CONTACT U.S.CUSTOMS. I DO NOT THINK YOU HAVE TO CALL IF YOU ONLY WEE IN YOUR BOAT OF FISHING AND RETURNED TO THE U.S. I DONT HAVE THE PHONE NUMBER MAYBE SOMEONE ELSE HAS.

I believe its form "I-99". I'm pretty sure it's for boaters who cross into canada and dock there, then come back to u.s. waters. It allows you to make a phone call to check in with US customs instead of going to an actual customs place. someone can correct me or add to this if i'm wrong.
