I just got a great deal on a used 617. The only possible drawback is that it's on a prestige trailer which is 102 inches wide. I'm thinking of purchasing the Ranger trailer for this boat which is 94 inces wide and will allow me to put the boat in my garage. Can anyone tell me what I'll be paying for the Ranger trailer and do you think I'll get anything for the "new" Prestige trailer as a trade-in? Thanks

Retail on a single axle 617 trailer is about $3200 for a 2002 model.

Any Ranger dealer should be able to order the trailer only in any color you wish.......

Get a Ranger trail. The boat centers itself every time, even in a cross wind.

Why would a used Ranger 617 be sitting on a Prestige trailer??

Did the original owner wreck it???? Was it stolen???? Did the boat fall off the trailer going down the road, and the trailer went over a cliff????

The owner never ordered a trailer. Ranger has confirmed this. The dealer is located on the lake where he lives. He kept the boat in a slip and on a lift. Until now the boat has never been trailered.

Agree, the Rangertrail is a first class trailer. I suspect it has brales at this price, not to mention oil filled hubs, perfect loading, low slung for shallow water lauching, and they will match it perfectly to the boat. It is worth every penny.
