antifreeze in live well

can i just put antifreeze in my live well and leave it there all winter with no harmful effects?

what about covering the boat with a cover-mildew?

Jeff, you can use rv antifreeze for that. As far as covering the boat make sure the inside is dry before you put the cover on.

throw some mowth balls in keep the critters out . unhook your batt.

Make sure to run antifreeze (marine/rv) through all of the livewell pick up and drain hoses and pumps as well, as ice in these areas can cause damage.

Don't use moth balls unless you like that smell. Use dryer sheets, they work too and don't smell so unpleasant.
