My question is when the internal battery in my GPS dies will I be able to put in a waypoint that I have written down from other outings just to get me to that single waypoint or is my unit going to be useless until the battery is changed? Second question is will the manufacture replace the battery or is the unit junk after the batteries die? This has not happend to me yet but they say the life of the batteries are about 7-10 years and my unit is about 6 yr old.
