Does anyone know if the Minn Kota Wireless Co Pilot unit can be placed on an older Power Drive or Auto pilot unit?

Thanks for the reply. I had read that part in the catalog. It appears that the cordless unit is only for the Grip Glide model. They make a corded unit for the older models. A friend thought he had read that the cordless unit would work on older units. Anyone else know about it?

Thanks all for the info. Now all I have to do is decide if it is worth the expense. When I first got a Power Drive I would jumped on it. Now I am used to the foot pedal and comfortable with it. Has anyone had any experience with the Co Pilot?

Keep in mind that the sideplate with the receiver on the co-pilot will only match the newer PD's with the black head. The mid 1990's PD's eith the white head had the same footpedal but not the same sideplate style as today's PD's.
By the way, I thought the post on identity theft was going to be about too many perchjerkers.

TYPO: That should read "with" the white head, not "eith". E is next to W on the keyboard. Sorry.

Thank you for the added info. My power drive is an older unit with the white head. I guess that answers my questions.
