I'm an Off Shore board user. For some free information on using these boards go to the mainpage here at WC, and click on the Off Shore board logo. That will take you to the Off Shore site where you can order your free "Off Shore Release" paper. This paper will have some good tips on using planer boards. If you can, see if you can get a paper from last year too. That one had a lot of good information in it too.
Also, if you go to the products page, you will find a book called "Trolling Top to Bottom". It's a book written by Mark Romanack. It's packed full of information on how to get the most out of your trolling efforts.

Good luck...

I have Gary Roach boards, and my brother has Off Shore with the tattletale flags. I've used both and I really like the Off Shore boards much better. They seem to run through the water better and with the flag adjusted properly, it works great for detecting a fish or weeds. We just returned from Lake of the Woods and caught some nice fish with the Off Shore boards. I'll be placing an order for some real soon. Good luck.
