Can anyone give me simple advice about how to use the livewells on the Triton 189dcf? Incredibly, no documentation came with the boat!
When do I use "auto"; when do I use "recirculate," etc.

I have a 205 and it's the same livewell as the 189. To answer your question, I use the recirculate and airate both at the same time, one pulls the water in from the lake and the other recuirculates the water in the livewell. I place them both on auto, when the livewells get full, there is a overflow drain that allows the water to drain out and into the lake. I first place the one that pulls water from the lake into the livewell on manual till it's fairly full, then place it on auto, after catching the first fish I then turn the recicurlater on. I use the live well on the port side that has the live bait bucket in it most of the time. When I striper fish I am using both livewells. One to keep the bait alive and the other to place the catch in. You will like the boat and it's lay out. Good luck with your Triton.
