1. Boat numbers are online as of today. Please note the heading should say there are 116 teams as of 6/14/01. The correction is being made.

2. Although all participating team captains should have received information on the contingent boundaries, please check out my post from a week or so ago so you can plan your pre-fishing to account for small craft advisories.

3. Called Tournament Policy

After consulting with the highest source, reviewing and considering various alternatives, we've arrived at a formal policy in the unlikely event conditions are deemed unsafe by the local tournament director on either day.

Note that unsafe conditions will vary from site to site and the experiences of the local director.

Should a day's fishing be called before noon, that days weight will not be counted. Should a days fishing be called after noon, all boats will have one hour to return to the check in point. Those that make it within the one hour deadline will have their fish weighed. Those that don't will not.

For after noon calls, boats will not becoming in per an orderly flight sequence but rather all at one time. Another safety issue. Therefore, the check-in point will be relaxed. You won't be required to be past a certain boundry but must be reasonably near the check-in point, off plane and not fishing. You must be able to be seen by the check-in person. Make sure they see your boat number.

If both days are called before noon and weights not counted, refunds will be due all anglers.

Plan your day's fishing accordingly if you believe conditions may get exceptionally bad.

Thanks Jules. I appreciate your considered opinion.

Just moving this post back to the top. I don't think anyone has seen this. Not enough pissin' and moanin'.
