Any idea what bay it is that your resort is on?? I would think your best bet at that time of year is still a jig and shiner...thats what is hot the first couple weeks of season and i would think it still would be the first part on June. One thing i do know...is that chartruese is a magic color on Leech for walleyes. Definately have a stock of chartruese jigs and floaters.

I would agree with the previous posting about fireball jigs and shiners. If it is a cloudy day, try lime green instead of chartreuse and on a sunny day go with lime green/chartreuse two-tone jigs. I have also had good luck on cloudy days with the patriot color and parrot color fireballs. Fish the wind swept points, the more wind the better. I fish the North side a lot. Star point the two hardwoods, stony, ottertail and pine. If the weather warms up a move to the flats to the East of Goose island is sometimes the ticket or even the deeper humps in walker bay. Good luck!
