The guy that bought it took it away tonight. I feel kinda sad actually. It was my 1st boat. Yea i only had it for 2 years but man alot of great fishing and time with my son on the water. Amazing what just a simple fishing boat can do for a guy. The guy that bought it has a 19 year old handicapped son in a wheelchair. Said he's REALLY excited to get out there and go fishin. I'm sure it's in great hands. And besides now i get to go shoppin so it can't be all bad:}

Are you gonna upgrade right away, or will your heart need time to mend? :)

I feel your pain brother. Last year Das Boot 1 left on the back of a strangers pick up. The real consolation is when you back down the ramp with the new boat.
Spring is sooooooooooooooo far away.

Mine too, now, Bob. Sold mine today to a couple my wife and I met at fishing camp last year. My new one is schedule for production early in March. I worked hard on the boat I sold today and added a lot over the past 5+ years I owned it ... installed rod holders, installed console GPS, modified it to run a 24 volt bow troller instead of just 12 volt and re-inforced the deck to take the extra torque, modified a Schumacher charger to act like an on-board for the 24 volt hookup, added locks to all the storage compartments, modified the travel cover for easier on/off using 1 inch straps and fast buckles, modified my Wave Masters for easy on/off like Wave Wackers, and changed the Titan tires to Goodyear Marathons.

Wow. Lots of work. Maybe I did not charge enough for my boat ... lol. Sold it to good people, though. I sincerely hope they enjoy it. It got a good home and they got a good boat.

what a day for you. one of the two best days a boat owner can have. the day you buy it and the day you sell it. all the time in between is just a hole in the water you throw your money at. But what a great feeling.

The day my first "real" boat (16 ft Sylvan Backtroller) drove away behind a different truck, my boys and I watched until it disappeared from sight. Even the dog stood there and watched and whined. My wife just shook her head. The worst part was that it was set-up exactly the way I wanted it - everything but the main motor I picked out and put on personally.

Two weeks later, with the new Crestliner TS, it started all over again. After a couple of years in this one now, it is "just about" where I need it.

...yes dear, I really need to upgrade the electronics, and the GPS could be a bit more user friendly, and...

Remember, it's not the fish, it's the fishing...

Nice boat Bob. Good luck. 14ft green crestliner angler tiller w/25 four stroke yammy. Favorite and most productive area for me has to be the bong bridge area. Barker's also has produced well also. I like to fish down river as oppossed to upstream. To crowded. Have a good one, Junky.............

My son cried when I told him I was selling my boat. The next day I showed him a picture of the one I am buying and now he keeps asking when are you gonna get the red one sold ? Can I go with you to get the one with the purple on it ? And he is sure mom will not mind him missing 2 days of school either!
