Most likely its a Chrysler, who got took over by Force, who got took over by Merc.

I have an old sea king, made for Montgomery Wards, has 7hp Clinton 2cycle air cooled engine. Clinton no longer exists. It to runs fine, but parts are out of the question. Unless your prop is simalar to something else on the market, I'd run it tell it breaks or try to get rid of the engine, if somebody will give you something for it.

Trailerguy,
You sure brought back some memories. When I was growing up, my dad owned a 5 hp clinton OB. I'm guessing that it was made in the early to mid 60's. Like you say, it was an air cooled, 2 stroke. I remember it was red, with big black knobs on the front. We fished with it for several years, until it finally wore out.
