At the risk of repeating an already asked/answered question, what is the best way to hook up the fuel line from the main motor to my new T-8 Yammie. Main motor is a 175 Yammie. Through the water separator would be my guess but is it the recommended method after trial and error from the anglers out there. Appreciate any recommendations.

Hi Doug:

I asked this question a few weeks back. Opinions varied, but in terms of options, it looked like running it from a second tank pick-up lead, a water separator, or from the auxillary tank were the best alternatives (in that order it appears). Here'e the link to that thread:

I wouldn't. I'd find room for a separate fuel tank, six or even three gallons.
I once bought a tankful of gas and got a bunch of water/dirt in my main tank. My kicker with its separate tank got me back to the trailer.
No one wants to admit the main advantage to a kicker over a big electric trolling motor is the ability to get home if something goes wrong with the main engine.
