What is the best way to remove mildew from carpet decks and vinyl floors? thanks, Bill
Try Tilex--it is a bathroom tile cleaner that you can buy almost anywhere that sells home cleaning products. Just 2-3 dollars for a bottle with a hand sprayer on top. It is relatively mild yet effective on mold/mildew. It will do great on the vinyl. You may want to test a small area on the carpet before doing a larger area.

Be careful, I think Tilex contains bleach....

Do you have any of the Meijers stores in your area? If so look in the marine section for a spray bottle which is called mildew remover. I used it on the vinyl, dash, seats etc and it made everything look brand new.....not sure if it has bleach in it or not....it didn't discolor anything I used it on.

I'm in California, no stores by that name. Could you be more specific on a Brand name. We have a West Marine, they're big, I'll check them out. Thanks,Bill
