Just ordered a new Tundra 18' Walk-Thru.With a 115 Merc 4 stroke. I upgraded to a 24 volt 65-lb thrust Minn Kota. Any Tundra owners out there with advice on extras you have on your boat, or wish you would have added?

I have both used them and sell them. Besides the trolling motor most of the upgrades are fish finder/GPS, and the addtion of a kicker motor and then rod holder either scotty or ram mounts. Douglas

More horse power! You need to max it out on that boat. My partner went down that path and ended up trading up.

For the saftey of everyone on board, get a good quality vhf radio and antenna.
That's only necessary if the person is fishing ocean or great lakes. Anywhere else and he can use a cell phone to call 911 if needed. If he will be fishing one of the great lakes I agree but otherwise, no, spend the money for other upgrades.
