Next week I'm being "forced" to go to Red Wing, Minnesota for a training class on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. At first they only said "training in Minnesota" and since our company's headquarters are much nearer to Minneapolis/St. Paul, I didn't get too excited.... but now that it is in Red Wing: :-) :-) :-). After all, from what I hear RW has to be on the list of top 10 walleye holy waters, right?!?

Anyone got any suggestions for me as to giving walleye a try while I'm there? Probably will have a couple late afternoons and evenings available. Won't have too much room for tackle, but a couple rods & reels are not out of the question plus a couple 3600/3700 boxes. Any place to rent a boat?

Can't stay longer since I'm driving up from southwest Michigan with another person (not an angler :-(), and will be leaving Friday morning.

Help!!!

Thanks.

Ryan

Mississippi is on the rise again. There is alot of debry in the rivers now. crankin and spinner fishing will be tough with all the floating grass and leaves... The locks are closed to navigation.

While in town stop at "Andys" for a cold one, and good luck.
