Accuracte Prop Charts?

Does anyone know just how accurate the prop charts, like Mercury and a few other are? The ones where you input the weight,length,motor hp,altitude, prop size, etc.

I think the Prop calculators are good places to start. It takes on the water time, and some one willing to let you try a bunch of props to really get a boat tweaked out.
