Anyone own or have any experience with this boat?
How's the ride? Maintenance concerns?
What size motor do you run, is a 115 4 stroke enough??
How long have they been using the stretched aluminum mfg.
Thanks.

I also have a qestion about the Tundra. The beam is wide at 96" but the bottom width is only 63" this concern"s me.It would seem to me that the boat would be a bit tippy. If you put two people on the same side(one fighting fish & one person netting fish). Also when viewing pictures it look's to be stern heavy or is it just the picture's? I'm thing of putting a 175HP and a 15HP 4 stroke kicker on and a 74# thurst electric on the back.I like the lay-out of the boat.Excellent storage and everything at your finger tip's.One exception driver's seat hit's throttle control when seat is turned. It would be nice if both front seat's could be moved to the center so the seat's could make a complete rotation.

The boat runs exceptionally well with a 150 and up. The kicker will make no differance with weight etc. The wide top means NO WET SPRAY!
If fishing in 30 degree weather the last thing you want is one of those wet Lund or Crestliners. Take a look at the video as was filmed in 5 and 6 foot waves. You will never see film on the Lunds and Crestliner running in the tough stuff, always smooth and calm :(
Guess they have no faith in the product. The world isn't flat, Lund buyer and their is life after Lund :)

Whoa Boss
You get asked about the charms of one boat and you use all your valueable typing skills on a post bashing Lund and Crestliner! Don't forget to let us know how crappy Ranger and Alumacraft are too. Maybe Warrior and Princecraft and wet and slow. Don't spare us, let us know up front if you think they are inferior products.
Thanks for the warning though :)

I sell and run the Tundra. I do think the best motors are 135OPTI and up. I am 6'4" and 320lbs and my partner is bigger. We fished this boat in a tournament on Lake St Clair, in waves up to 3 footers, jigging. I was in the front and partner in the stern. Never a problem with rocking which I was also concerned about. With the deep V hull it stays great in the water, If you are in the MI area I can take you out in one and show you. Super ride also. Douglas

THe boat will run about 44 miles per hour with a 115 Four Stroke. This may be fine for just getting to the spot and back, but it will not let the boat hull perform at its finest.

The 135 Opti is the best bang for the buck on this boat. 53 MPH and gets there in a hurry. Won't break the bank as much as the 150 that only goes 2 mph faster.

The boat is very stable as the large "sponsons" keep the boat from rocking.

It is a great boat and a great value. Good Luck.

Keep the line tight,

I ordered my Tundra 18' Walk-Thru with the 115 4-stroke. Already signed the papers. Now I want the 135 opti. I hope they will let me change the order. Run it through the bank again?

I just ordered mine!!!! 18' WT with a 135 Opti with a galvanized trailer.
For those of you who own one - is a 54" shaft trolling motor long enough? I got a 65 lb thrust but haven't decided on the shaft length yet. I fish large lakes quite frequently will the 54" stay in the water on a rough day?

Go with a 60 inch shaft, the boat is big enough to need that length.
